LookSee’s innovative approach to solar water heating uses standard solar panels to power your existing geyser. That means you benefit from big savings, reliable hot water and a low-maintenance solution – without bulky rooftop tanks, evacuated tubes or costly plumbing changes.
This innovative solution uses solar panels to power your existing geyser directly through a controller. You can also switch to mains electricity if it’s cloudy or when hot water demand is higher than usual.
A simple end-user controller lets you adjust how much energy comes from the solar panels versus the grid, so you’re always in control of your hot water and savings.
If you have a Kwikot or Ariston geyser, you can opt for the Smart conversion option which replaces the end-user device with a smartphone app that provides you with easy control of your geyser heating and useful insights into your savings and hot water usage.
The number of panels depends on your household size and water use. For instance, a small geyser conversion (3-panel) can supply a 3-person family with around 70% of their hot water needs, while a medium conversion (4-panel) could cover as much as 100% of your needs.
The LookSee Customer Care Team will help you identify the best system size for your family and budget by taking into account the number of people in your home and your hot water usage.

No, this system requires its own dedicated solar panels to work effectively.
Yes, you can.
Very little. Clean the solar panels about twice a year and make sure nearby trees don’t cast shadows on them.
Our panels are built to last +20 years under normal conditions.
Replacing your geyser is simple. The system’s wiring is easy to disconnect and reconnect to a new geyser, and full instructions are available online for your plumber.
